Rev. Dangelo’s Response to the Question…

Our visiting clergy are asked to respond to a quick question every year. This summer the question is:

“If you were not an Episcopal priest, what other profession/calling might you have pursued?”

Rev. Mike Dangelo:

Oh I love this question! I think I love it because it varies with the seasons of my life thus lived.

I think that if I could go back in time, I would have sought out an apprenticeship in fine woodworking/cabinet making/ship carpentry.

I’ve noticed that the two-dimensional realities of ideas on paper are quite challenging to translate into three dimensional space the older I’ve gotten. Working that part of my brain in my late teens would have probably yielded a very different and vastly more proficient carpenter!
