The Rev. Noah Van Niel is the Rector of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Norfolk, VA.

Noah graduated from Harvard College where he played fullback on the Crimson’s Ivy League champion football team and majored in English Literature. He received his Master’s of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. Before answering his call to ordained ministry, he trained and worked as an opera singer in Philadelphia.

Prior to coming to Christ & St. Luke’s in 2022, Noah served as the Associate Rector at the Chapel of the Cross in Chapel Hill, NC and at St. John the Evangelist in Hingham, MA.

Noah, his wife Melinda, and two boys, Vincent and Arthur, have been coming to St. Aidan's since 2018 and look forward every year to their time as a part of this special community.
