St Aidan’s Begins Anew in June

The opening Sunday morning of the 2024 summer season dawned with thunder and rain showers but the St Aidan’s faithful persevered!

The Rev. Mike Dangelo, returning for his 16th year at the chapel, led two engaging worship services. Parishioners serving as ushers, readers, altar guild, chalice bearers, fellowship and set-up contributed to the sacred and beautiful communion liturgies. Particular thanks to Lucy Edson for the contribution of her beautiful floral arrangements of hydrangea and other blossoms from her garden and Deborah Winslow Nutter for her
generous contributions to the fellowship treats. A warm welcome to Faith and Savannah who will enjoy their “home” at the rectory on Smith Neck Road once again.

Hopes are high that next week the sun will shine and we can enjoy worshipping together outside at the 9:00 am service for the first time. All are always welcome at St. Aidans!
