Summer Holiday

The 4th of July weekend brought many familiar and new families to the chapel as the beautiful blue hydrangeas reached their full bloom. Although the services were held indoors due to drizzle, spirits were high nonetheless!

The Rev. Mike Dangelo presided and offered a poignant, compelling sermon urging us to consider how we might share one another’s burdens, as suggested in St. Matthew’s Gospel reading. Good food for thought indeed.

Prayers were offered for the USA, and the closing hymn, My Country, ‘Tis of Thee, rang throughout the Meadows.

Happy 4th of July, everyone!
