A Moveable Spiritual Feast

The Rev. Canon Arlette Benoit Joseph returned to St Aidan’s for her fourth summer on Sunday. The weather was less than ideal as the worshippers at 9:00 commenced under the beech tree. However, after the readings, Rev. Arlette suggested that the group move inside the chapel to avoid some uninvited raindrops. The switch worked like a charm, and this “hybrid” service continued with special blessings for three couples who were celebrating their wedding anniversaries.

Volunteers also emptied overflowing donation bins with the intention of delivering the contents to Grace Episcopal Church in New Bedford. Thanks to all of the thoughtful donors who made contributions this summer. The bins will remain throughout September as people empty their summer pantries and continue the good work of St. Aidan’s.
