All Things Bright and Beautiful

A perfect July day shown brightly for the assembled worshippers and Rev. Kit Lonergan as she led a joyful service outdoors.

Returning to St. Aidan’s with her family for the third summer in a row, Rev. Kit reflected thoughtfully on the Old and New Testament readings and then engaged young and old for the annual “Blessing of the Pets.” Community spirits were high as a long line of canines received blessings from Rev. Kate and several children who were recruited to assist. Once again the bell was rung at the end of the service by eager young ones, followed by a convivial fellowship, enjoyed by many.
