August Worship
The hydrangeas surrounding the chapel are beginning to change colors as our worship together in continues. For the fifth time, The Rev. Canon Arlette Benoit Joseph led the services as she begins her two weeks in residence. Welcome back to St Aidan’s Rev. Arlette!
The sermon was particularly poignant with challenging ideas and a compelling interpretation of the featured Gospel reading. Music was played beautifully by Eric (organ) and Alan (flute) and the singing was gentle. Volunteers attended to the many tasks that make a joyful Sunday of worship unfold. A special appeal for lightly used children’s books was made in addition to other community outreach initiatives. Thank you all!
On August 22, the annual meeting of the Corporation and Standing Committee will be held. Thanks to all of the volunteers in leadership roles who do so much for so many all year long.
