Bishop Gates Visits

The Rt. Rev. Alan Gates, Bishop Diocesan, was welcomed to St. Aidan’s Chapel by a large group of parishioners on Sunday, July 16.  A communion worship service was followed by fellowship at which participants became better acquainted with each other.  As part of his pastoral mission, Bishop Gates visits with parishes throughout the Commonwealth within his jurisdiction. It is always a pleasure to have the Bishop with us to experience the spiritual blessings and community energy of the St. Aidan’s community.

Sunday also marked the final week of Officiating Clergy, Rev. Mike Dangelo’s summer visit.  Thank you for your leadership, thoughtful and engaging sermons, administrative  assistance and spiritual guidance that brought our worship community closer to Christ’s love. Your 14 years of service to the Chapel is appreciated and deeply admired. Best wishes and gratitude to Faye, Suzannah, and Mike in the months ahead before you return to Smith Neck Rd next summer!
