Chapel News Bits

Chapel DrawingThe chapel community, near and far, has been very busy this summer.

  1. Many thanks to over 100 dedicated volunteers who make the operation hum along all season!

  2. The Rev. Noah van Niel, sending warm regards to St Aidan’s, writing upon his return from a trip to England:
“…while we have certainly missed our dose of South Dartmouth, it was really exciting to spend such good, concentrated time in England as a family. Our choir sang really well in two incredible cathedrals, our pilgrims had deep and meaningful experiences, and our boys had a lot of fun and made (I hope!) some memories they will hold for a lifetime.”

  3. The chapel social at the Salters Casino on 8/14 was well attended with lots of food and drinks and conversation. Thanks to Salter’s for the use of their iconic casino once again!

  4. A local art class taught by Susan Cabral, artist, met at the chapel to sketch, create, and enjoy the beauty of the building and grounds. The results of their work are impressive!

  5. The generosity of the parish in support of Martha’s Pantry and other priorities in support of young families in New Bedford has been impressive. Thank you!
