Holy Communion under the Beech Tree

The sustained heat wave and drought conditions did not deter Rev. Noah Van Niel and the congregation from gathering on July 24. The shade of the mature beech tree in the Chapel garden provided welcome protection from the sun as hymns were enhanced by flute accompaniment. Over 80 parishioners attended the service and welcomed Rev. Noah and his family back to St Aidan’s for the first time this summer. His next service will be July 31 at 9:00 am.

Thanks are in order for all the volunteers who manage the weekly chores that make St. Aidan’s hum. The delicious fellowship that followed today’s service was a great addition to the sense of community connection and well-being. Thank you all!
