Rev. Mike Bids Adieu for the Season

On yet another beautiful Sunday morning, Rev. Mike Dangelo led a large group of parishioners in prayer and worship outside in the Chapel garden. The July 17th gathering was the last of his four services for 2022, in which he offered another engaging sermon that highlighted the continuity of the Gospel readings throughout his stay this summer.  Recommending his favorite book, Into the Silent Land by Martin Laird, Rev. Mike challenged the congregation to make time for prayer in our “busy” lives in order to access a closer relationship with Jesus vis-a-vie prayer and contemplation.

Thank you, Vicar, for your devoted service to St. Aidan’s. Your leadership, exuberance for the waters of Buzzards Bay, spiritual inspiration, affection for the Chapel and its congregants, and your love for Christ and his teachings are a gift to all.

May you, Faith, and Suzanna enjoy the rest of the summer. See you next year!
