Rev. Noah Van Niel leads St. Aidan’s community in worship July 29 and August 1.
An enthusiastic group of parishioners welcomed the Rev. Noah Van Niel as he and his family took up residence on Smith Neck Road during his two week chaplaincy. Due to rainy weather, the 7/29 service was held inside the chapel, the first time since the summer of 2019 due to the pandemic and ensuing Covid restrictions. Despite the weather, it was poignant to be together inside, amidst the beautiful altar flower and handmade kneelers.
August 1st was a perfect summer morning. Once again, enthusiastic worshippers gathered outside in the garden to attend the service, receive communion and enjoy the blessings of our committed community. (And yes, there were some great big donuts to savor too!)
