The many dedicated volunteers who support our services every summer were put through their paces in 2020. Happily, the St. Aidan’s community was able to worship at one outdoor service on Sundays. Facing the challenges of the Covid pandemic, our team of ushers were key to enabling the community to gather safely by welcoming and guiding those attending to safe, distanced seats outdoors; taking attendance for contact tracing; and supporting outdoors service set up.

We invite you, your family and friends to join us in ushering support for the Summer 2021. In accordance with Massachusetts Commonwealth and Episcopal Diocese guidance, St. Aidan’s will determine service arrangements (schedule, in the chapel or outdoors in the garden, etc.) as June approaches.

It is most important for any who participate in our modified ushering support in 2021 do so only if you are comfortable doing so. If you or friends are interested in becoming involved in ushering (e.g., volunteering for a task or on one or more dates), please contact Pam McNamara at
